Listening to God
As we look to the future it is important that we develop a climate
for growth in the life of our church. With this in mind we are beginning a ten-week prayer ministry with growth as the
goal. Using the ancient practice of the lectio divina we will use Scripture and prayer to discern God's word
for me, what God is asking me to do in my discipleship, and what the Lord is directing us toward in our church's ministry.
We will begin on Good Friday (March 21) at 7:00 p.m., and then continue on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. beginning March
26. Join us in the chapel with your Bible and a heart for prayer.
Krista Johnson in Worship
It will be a great experience for us on May 18 as we hear Krista Johnson's story
of faith during the worship service. Krista has served as an intern at the Sabeel Theological institute in Jerusalem.
She is touring our Region in May and we will be blessed to have her with us. Krista will deliver the message that day,
and a reception will follow the service in the fellowship to get to know her better.
Graduate Recognition & Reception
We have High School graduates this year: Chris Baber, Scott Combs and Megan
Zutaut. Acknowledging their accomplishments will take place on May 18. During the worship service we will officially
recognize them and present them with a small gift. Afterward there will be a reception for our to personally congratulate
them.
