Spring Bible Study
Bible study will resume on Sunday, February 21, at 4:00 p.m. Our theme this spring will be "The Old Testament
in the New," and we will be using the Epistle to the Hebrews as our starting point. We'll meet in the Anchor
classroom for approximately 1 hour. Just bring your Bible and an inquisitive mind as we study God's Word together
Community Lenten Services
The Greater Beckley Ministerial Association is hosting Community Lenten services beginning February 24 at St. Francis
DeSales Roman Catholic Church at 12:00. A light luncheon will follow each service for a donation of $3. The continuing
schedule is as follows: March 3 - Beckley Presbyterian Church, March 10 - St. Mary's United Methodist Church, March 17
- First Christian Church, March 24 - Heart of God Ministries.
Day of Pancakes
Our
annual Day of Pancakes will be held after worship on March 21. The youth host this event to support the Disciple's
Mens ministry, which supports the work of various children & youth centers throughout the U.S. There is no charge
for the dinner, but donations would be appreciated to support the above mentioned work. Also, if you would like to help in
